Hibler: Art K-3- Kinder - students will draw shapes together and combine shapes to make new things.
- 1st - students will learn about mosaics and create a draft of a mosaic with a pattern using two colors.
- 2nd - students will read Seeing Symmetry and create symmetrical cut outs.
- 3rd - students will be introduced to the artist Vincent van Gogh and observe the Starry Night. Begin working with the element of art line.
- 3rd - The students will draw and describe different types of lines, and its relation to patterns.
- 4th - The students will break down drawing intricate objects using simplified shapes.
- 5th - The students will learn about and create Optical Art.
- 6th - The students will learn the Principles of Design.
Drama

Puopolo: Spanish K-2- Kinder - The students will practice saying goodbye through gestures. They will waive their hand and say adios.
- 1st - The students will learn different ways to introduce themselves by using the textbook to visualize and visually identify the context in which they are said.
- 2nd - The students will learn different ways to introduce themselves by using the textbook to visualize and visually identify the context in which they are said.
- 3rd & 4th - Continuing Chapter 1 of Minimus, learning to make Latin flashcards and Latin Bingo!
- 5th - We have begun our first chapter of Lingua Latina for the school year! Students are beginning with reading basic sentences focused around a map of the Roman Empire.
- 6th - We are reviewing Chapter 1 of Lingua Latina currently and will work through Chapter 4 by end of Quarter 1.
Music
Abrego: Music K-2- Kinder - The students will learn to develop tuneful singing, beat skills, listening skills, and learn song repertoire. The students will learn the history and music of composer Johann Sebastian Bach.
- 1st - The students will learn the visual and aural presentation of rhythm. The students will learn the history and music of composer Francois Couperin.
- 2nd - The students will learn the visual awareness and aural presentation of 2/4 meter. The students will learn the history and music of composer Dominico Scarlatti.
Balmer: Music 3-6
- 3rd – Students are reviewing concepts from 2nd grade music including meter, measures, bar lines, and time signatures. They are also learning proper singing posture and techniques. We are finishing our study of Johann Sebastian Bach.
- 4th – Students are reviewing concepts from 3rd grade music including lines and spaces of the treble clef, pentatonic scale, and rhythm counting. We are reviewing proper singing posture and vocal techniques. We are completing our study of François Couperin.
- 5th – Students are reviewing concepts from 4th grade music including note names of the treble and bass clefs, rhythm counting, and major scales. We are reviewing singing techniques and wrapping up our study of Domenico Scarlatti.
- 6th – Students are reviewing concepts from 5th grade music including note names of the Grand Staff, ledger lines, major and minor scales. Students are perfecting singing techniques and finishing up our study of Antonin Vivaldi.
Physical Education
Walsh: PE K-3- Kindergarten and 1st - demonstrate space awareness, effort, and locomotor movements through movements with their hula hoops.
- 2nd and 3rd Grade
