Art
K-3: Hibler
- Kinder students will practice blending oil pastels. They will complete their Art Show work - replica of the fruits with a vase by Paul Cezanne.
- 1st grade will begin coloring in their facial features and color skin tones on their self-portraits.
- 2nd grade will use shading skills to apply even layers of color to their replicas by Maria Merian.
- 3rd grade will practice a value scale and begin coloring their birds, the common troupial.
3-6: Carlson
- 3rd grade will learn and review color theory.
- 4th grade will continue applying their value skills.
- 5th grade will learn how to apply their knowledge of color theory.
- 6th grade will complete their independent art projects.
Music
K-2: Abrego
- Kindergarten: The students practice reading high and low melodies.
- 1st grade: The Students will practice writing melodies that include the solfege syllable la.
- 2nd grade: The students will create a visual representation of the notes of the do pentatonic scale.
3-6: Andersen
- 3rd grade: Students will review 16th notes and their relationships to eighth notes.
- 4th grade: Students will learn how to track their notes while reading chime music.
- 5th grade: Students will review accidentals including sharps, flats, and naturals.
- 6th grade: Students will review the qualities of a tetrachord.
Spanish/ Latin

- 3rd/4th Grade - Finishing Chapter 5 of Minimus.
- 5th Grade - Beginning of Chapter 3 Translation of Lingua Latina
- 6th Grade - Completion of Chapter 5 of Lingua Latina with Test and Beginning of Chapter 6.
PE
K-3: Walsh
- K-2- Scholars will be working on hand striking and underhand rolling with exciting partner games.
- 3rd- Scholars will be out on the field this week. We will continue to work on football skills.
3-6: Boland
- 3rd - 4th - Student will be able to work as a team while playing games such as keep away and ultimate ball. Finding open space and moving without the ball will be a primary goal.
- 5th - 6th - Students will be introduced to our Ultimate Frisbee unit. While working with their teammates, they will learn different passing and catching techniques.
