K-3: Hibler
  • Kinder students will begin learning about different types of textures and use adjectives to describe them.
  • 1st grade will review how to show space in a two-dimensional plane.
  • 2nd grade will complete their shading of the replicas of Butterflies by Maria Merian
  • 3rd grade will continue coloring in the Audubon birds.
3-6: Carlson
  • 3rd grade will be reviewing color and introduced to Henri Matisse.
  • 4th grade will be reviewing value, learning Chiaroscuro and introduced to Paul Gaugin.
  • 5th grade will be reviewing color, how it evokes emotion and introduced to the artist, Georgia O'Keefe.

K-3: Walsh
  • K-2- Scholars will be working on hand striking and underhand rolling with exciting partner games.
  • 3rd- Scholars will be out on the field this week. We will continue to work on football skills.
-This week scholars will be practicing individual sport skills by rotating to different stations.
3-6: Boland - Students will continue their handball unit inside. New elements to the game will be intruded such as, goalies, jump shots, and the crease area.
