- Kinder - The
students will label the beat, introduce the beat icon, and present the
word “beat.” Students will identify the musical era, musical themes, and
biography of George Fredric Handel.
- 1st - The students will prepare to analyze repertoire that contains so-mi. The students will practice writing musical patterns that contain quarter and eighth notes. Students will identify the musical era, musical themes, and biography of George Fredric Handel.
- 2nd - The students will learn to label one sound that lasts two beats with the rhythm syllable ta-ah. The students will learn the history and music of composer Muzio Clementi.
