K-3: Hibler

• Kinder students will study Monet's Bridge and create texture by using repeating lines.
• 1st grade will create a still life using objects that overlap or are higher/ lower on the page to show space.
• 2nd grade will create a fruit using positive and negative space.
• 3rd grade will complete their replicas of John James Audubon's common troupial.

3-6: Carlson

• 3rd grade will be finishing their Matisse drawing outline and beginning to color with watercolor pencils. Yay!
• 4th grade will be learning how to take measurements with their pencil and beginning 3D Shapes drawing
• 5th grade will be finishing their OKeefe drawing outline and beginning to color with watercolor pencils.
• 6th grade will be choosing a gesture drawing by Peter Paul Reubens to begin mapping.

• 5th grade: Students will review half and whole steps and identify them in their concert repertoire.
• 6th grade: Students will learn sharp key signatures and identify "do" based on their key signatures.

K-3: Walsh

• K-2- Scholars will begin an exciting basketball unit. This week scholars will work on the proper technique for dribbling.
• 3rd- Scholars will be working on soccer dribbling skills.

3-6: Boland

• 3rd-4th - Students will continue their Ultimate Frisbee unit outside on the field. They will also be practicing the PACER assessment to prepare for the FitnessGram coming up in March.
• 5th-6th - Students will continue their Ultimate Frissbee unit outside on the field. They will also train their aerobic capacity by increasing their running distance to 1/2 mile to prepare them for the FitnessGram.
