Mrs. Balmer (Music: 3-5)
This week in music (Week 6) 5th grade will start preparing their handchime pieces for the Winter Concert on December 1st at Trinity Baptist Church. All classes will continue working on their 2nd concert song as well. All grade levels are learning new rhythmic notation this week: 3rd grade - dotted half notes, 4th grade - syncopation and individual 8th notes, 5th grade - dotted quarter notes. The time flies by in music class! I love all the wonderful discussion around our listening and the astute questions provided by our Scholars. They keep me on my toes!
I am always here if there are questions or concerns. Please feel free to contact me.
